TFYT SENIORS/TYA ACTING CLASS (Monday class)

Acting Class: SENIORS is for ages 11- 14 years. (Year 7to Year 9) & TYA is for ages 14-19 years. 

From September we will be starting to work on our LAMDA pieces. All students will be performing in the TFYT Showcase on 20th and 21st October. These performances will consist of work that is being prepared for their LAMDA exams; monologues or duologues. All students are invited to perform for the showcase. We have 6 weeks to prepare our pieces so will be hitting the ground running! Please note, students do not have to take the LAMDA exams, the TFYT acting class will still be designed to develop performance and acting skills alongside LAMDA prep.

From October to December, we will then prepare for their first LAMDA exam in December. Students do not have to enter the exam if they do not want to, it is completely their choice.

Thinking ahead, January to July we will be preparing for our big production, which I am very excited to say Nix Clements will be directing. This will be a combination of both Juniors and Seniors and we will be announcing the show very soon.

Each lesson is 1 and a half hours long and £4 per hour paid termly. Within the lesson we train in Acting techniques, including voice, projection, physicality, gestures, facial expressions and developing our performance skills for drama.
